Ophelia's Madness

The Set (Above)

Are intended to portray a woman who is going through an emotional conflict - between loyalty to her father and love for her boyfriend. This conflict drives her mad , these photos intend to capture the anger ,pain and darkness of those moments.

To edit the photos I added a black and white layer , which was reduced to 50% saturation , i then used the colour adjusting sliders on the layer to bring down red and yellow in the photo - bringing out the models freckles, this makes the image more intense.

The eyes were lightened using levele to make them more empty and cold.

This image belongs more with the "classically movie" inspired images of the outdoor shoot ,it was edited in the same way.

I depicts Ophelia's sadness and loss ( at the point when she truely breaks , her father has been killed).
