Ophelia, first studio portraits.
For the shoot I created a willow crown in order to reference Ophelia’s death by drowning after falling out of a willow tree and continued useing the scarf to give an underwater atmosphereI.
I first used a different model from the previous shoots to portray Ophelia , but then decided that to portray different interpretations of Ophelia’s character I should use the same model.

Sepia Tone
A sepia filter has been used over a black image to give the image warmth , it references old pictorialist images , which were often sepia toned.
The image on the left was edited using a Gaussian blur filter to blur the hair and leaves around the face. The image on the right has been edited using a green filter to make the model look slightly paler and ill ( as the character commits suicide).
These images were taken with the green scarf secured around the camera lens , they are related to the "Hands" images in that they look very alike and are edited in simalar ways.
