Firstly I edited the image to have grain , then gave it a Black and white filter. I contrasted the image alot as I wanted the light direction to be obvious - highlighting the face and cheekbones especially as i feel it gives the image a darker feel.
Pen and Ink tree drawn for use overlaying images.
Creating the Circle:
I then created a new 30x30 page and transformed it into a spherical shape ( 3D - New shape from layer - Sphere) and bought the first image over it as a new layer . Then to make the new image fit the sphere I Used the magic wand tool whilst on the circle layer selecting the outside of the circle. Then I went to the secondary layer ( of the image )and deleated the unwanted background , leaving just the circle and the image within it.
Adding The Trees:
I thebn added the drawn trees as layers and overlayed them or use the screen filter to put them in the image. I used a rubber tool to add depth to the image.
